| Experience: | *As of 5.10.12 I've tutored:772.5 hours and counting... Approach: I assess his/her current standing and learning methods. My mind works in an inexplicable way that helps me create methods to convey concepts as succinctly as possible to him/her. Constant positive feedback and encouragement are crucial in addition to patience. Have taught 29 students since I joined UT and am currently teaching 6. All students have increased their performance and grades by at LEAST 1 letter. *I'm sensitive to monetary issues, so please let me know if it is a problem - we can figure something out. *I charge a $5 rescheduling fee each time an appointment has been moved(to another day). |

Kevin is a very good tutor. My 10 year old has ADHD and learning differences and he was able to teach her a new concept every week, such as 2 digit multiplication, long division, decimals, fractions, etc., which she absorbed and was able to do. This is not an easy feat! She said he was a good combination of being in control, yet not controlling. Also, Kevin cares about the families that he tutors. |

Kevin was very helpful in clearing up the fog of physics in which I was lost. We started back at the beginning, and he helped me to marry the physics concepts to the math, which is where I kept getting confused. And when I did get stuck on a problem, he was good at asking me the questions that got me to where I needed to be instead of just giving me an answer, allowing me to develop some of that critical thinking I so sorely needed.. I highly recommend him. |

Told tutor that I needed help with Finite Math and agreed to tutor and 10 days later told me that he didnt know any of the concepts for Finite. Very flakey and unreliable! |

Kevin stuck with me for the entirety of Geometry. He helped me SO much and explained everything in simple terms. Everything changed from "clear as mud" to "clear as day". I've already told all my friends at Leland about him. My grade increased to a B+ at the end of the year from a C. THANK YOU Kevin! |

Kevin was a phenomenal tutor. He was extremely committed because there were times when he came at 10pm and stayed past midnight. He helped me greatly in my Calc class and would recommend him to everyone out there. He has a quirky and very funny personality. |

Kevin was great. He worked extremely well with my daughter. She likes the fact that Kevin is very patient and that he breaks down the basics in a way that she can understand. Even after one session my daughter had more confidence, and she is excited about math. We look forward to more sessions with Kevin. |

Super helpful, I've had many tutors and people in general struggle to break down math for me. Kevin has been the only one that has PATIENTLY, and simply, put math in terms that I could understand.
Flexible, friendly, thorough, easy to understand, not in it for the money, genuinely wants to help for understanding.
I highly recommend him, and have already to many of my friends struggling with school subjects. |

Very Very good tutor he is very smart and knowledgeable nice and funny. He is able to break down and help you step by step with problems you are having trouble with and it is very easy to understand after he helps you. He has made me a million times smarter. If you get this tutor it is a guaranteed good grade in the class. |
