I worked at HP for 15 years as a Project Manager and People Manager. I have since been tutoring Math for 4 years now. I have many repeat students that come back year after year. I am very patient and I am a good communicator. I can adapt to different learning styles. I emphasize the basics and work to inspire confidence in my students. I became a tutor when my own children told me that I explain math so much better than their teachers did. My favorite aspect of tutoring is when the subject finally "clicks" for the student. You can see it on their face, and that is the best part of my day. Please note that although I indicate that I travel for tutoring, I in fact tutor in my home.

I love to spend time with my family and my dog. I enjoy watching my twin daughters play soccer and swim. I love to cook, especially desserts! I also love to swim and stay in shape. I enjoy helping others. Since leaving HP, I have been a Girl Scout Leader and a National Charity League Grade Level Advisor. I sit on the Board of Directors for my children's swim team, and I volunteer for various fund raising and philanthropic activities through our school and community.
