I graduated from UCSD with a 3.49 GPA in Human Biology. I've also studied abroad at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea for 4 months and finished with a 3.81 GPA. I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of Southern California.

Experience

Previous tutoring experience: Last year I tutored a high school freshman girl in biology honors. I helped her raise her grade from a C to a B+ the first semester. The second semester, I helped her get an A in that class. Why I want to be a tutor: I enjoy seeing people excel in subjects they once lacked. I was a tutor at Foothill Community College for a year. I tutored all spectrum of biology. Students come to me saying they do not like biology because it is hard and they are not doing as well as they thought they would. I helped explain difficult concepts to them and made biology a more fun and interesting subject. In the end, their grades improved and they have more passion for biology.
