Experience
For some people, being a tutor is simply helping or giving out the answer to the students. For me, it is far from that. In my understanding, the basic skill to learn something new is to understand. So the core of being a tutor is to be able to understand the students and also assist them in understanding the materials. During my college years in Seattle Central Community College, I am a certified tutor under the Learning Support Network. I worked as a Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Tutor for two years (focusing on Math and low level physics and chemistry). During that period, I gained some experienced in dealing with different background of students I have taken a lot of Mathematics classes up to Differential Equation with the average GPA of 3.9.
