*As of 7.21.16 I've tutored: 6843 hours and counting... Approach: Convey concepts as succinctly as possible to him/her. Ask questions to student in order for him/her to answer his/her own questions.Constant positive feedback and encouragement are crucial in addition to patience. Have taught 97 students since I joined UT and am currently teaching 4. Last semester, I helped a junior at Bellarmine increase his Alg2 grade by 14% and chem by ~18%. Another girl went up nearly 20% and passed her Precalc course. When I can establish good synergy with a student that has a solid work ethic, those results are pretty typical. *I'm sensitive to monetary issues, so please let me know if it is a problem - we can figure something out.
