Experience
Tutoring experience with elementary and middle school students throughout my college career. I currently work with a Non-profit organization called City Year. Here, I tutor students throughout the school day and lead a after school program for further understanding in Literacy/Social Studies. I want to be a tutor because I can apply the training skills I have acquired to a one-on-one session. I have been around youth my whole life; trying to find ways to give back as much as I can. I have worked with both mentally disabled individuals and prisoners to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn.
