ExperienceI enjoy tutoring many subjects, but I specialize in teaching math and science-related subjects to high school, middle school, and elementary school students. My personal favorite subject is statistics, because I use the skills I learned in the course virtually every day in my life. I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science that I earned from the University of California, Davis. I have tutored many students online, and I have even created my own digital library consisting of over 40 hours of entertaining, educational videos. When I begin working with a new student, I first get to know them, so that I can figure out how their mind works. When tutoring, I ask students many questions to ensure they truly understand the lessons I am teaching. I don't teach shortcuts or just have students memorize answers to questions, because a deep understanding of the material helps them more now and later in their classes. I find it very rewarding when I help a student finally comprehend material they once found difficult. During my free time, I enjoy spending time on my own computer-related projects, working on puzzles, and playing tactical games.
