I am a resident of Burlington, Vermont and a graduate of the University of California at Davis, where I earned my bachelor's degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior. I have a variety of experiences that qualify me to tutor. For example, while I was a college student, I worked as a tutor for students at the middle school and high school levels. Upon graduation from UC Davis, I worked in San Francisco for one year as a teacher of math and English at the fourth and fifth grade levels. Medicine is my passion. After only six months of preparation, I took and passed the MCAT. I have my own skills and strategies for mastering standardized exams, which I happily share with those I tutor. My favorite subjects to tutor are those related to medicine, such as physics, biology, physiology, and chemistry. I am also willing to tutor earth science, nutrition, and help students increase their study skills and hone their organization techniques. I can help students over the summer.When I am not studying or working, I enjoy reading, playing the guitar, and playing soccer.
