I have degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from MIT. I scored 800/800 in SAT math, and subject tests 1 and 2. I have achieved numerous awards in math competitions, and Graduated with bachelor of science in mathematics from MIT. I have had both classroom and personal teaching experience.
Experience
In high school, I won a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), the biggest high school competition in the world. I could do it because I loved mathematics and I had excellent teachers who inspired me and showed me how to learn. I want to do the same. I believe that my lessons not only help students with specific topics, but also makes them better at learning other topics in future. My job as a teacher is to develop the capacity to learn, and not make the student dependent on tutors. Because I had excellent teachers to build my foundations in high school, I could get into MIT and graduated with double major (mathematics and computer science) and several awards. I teach at every level. Need help with the basics? I can build the foundation. Already mastered the concepts but want to get to 100% and solve the hardest problems? I can help with that too. If you are looking to succeed in math competitions, want to get into a top 10 college, you found the right tutor! I am also an experienced programmer and I can help you learn programming basics or lend a hand in your project. I am flexible with time and location.
