I have a PhD in Mathematics from Colorado State University in 2013. I have 5+ years experience teaching and tutoring undergraduate level math courses. I am available to tutor in a variety of math courses for grades 8 and up and also college level courses including algebra, calculus, discrete math, math for social sciences, probability and statistics. I can also help with SAT test preparation for math levels 1 and 2. I am passionate about teaching and have a never-give-up attitude. My experience is that students do not like math when they do not understand the underlying base concepts. Getting them to see and understand these concepts is my specialty. I persevere along with the student and aim to make math fun for everyone. In my spare time, I like cooking and crafting. I especially like making educational crafts for my son and his cousins.
