I am a student at Santa Clara University, where I am pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I live in San Jose, California.As a tutor since I was in high school, as well as having benefited from tutors myself in the past, I understand what is required for effective tutoring.While I tutor students in a variety of subjects, my passion is helping students with standardized testing. The approach that I use places the focus on increasing comfort and experience with questions. This allows the student to relax and perform as well as possible while testing. I also tutor students in arithmetic, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, differential equations, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, chemistry, American history, public speaking, religious studies, ISEE, social studies, science, and English. Additionally, I work with students who are preparing for the SAT.In my spare time, I like to read, watch movies, cycle, and work on graphic design.
