I love to tutor because it allows me to tailor my approach of teaching to an individual's learning style. I enjoy guiding students to discover their interests and strengths. I have a BA in research psychology from Madonna University. I have completed my graduate studies at Cal State University San Bernardino with an emphasis in social psychology. I had the privilege of conducting research at Stanford University in the psychophysiology lab for two years.
Experience
I was not always a good student. I struggled in elementary and middle school. A couple of teachers along the way helped me discover my strengths and provide me with invaluable study skills to compensate for my weaknesses. By the time I entered college I was excelling in all my classes and looking for new challenges. I discovered a passion for research and was given permission to take graduate level courses as an undergraduate. During this same year I found a passion for helping other students study for research methods and write quantitative research papers. While I have a board range of subject areas I am able to tutor in, providing organizational and study skills are my greatest strengths as a tutor and teacher.

I enjoy hiking, yoga, swimming, singing, and volunteering.
